Use the dialog to enter new text in your desired language.
Method 1: Changing Language via the Options Menu (FluidSIM 5 & 6)
The standard installer typically includes the core global languages, but regional variants might require a specific installer download from the official Festo portal. Festo Fluidsim Change Language
: Go to the very end of that text string, add a space, and type -lang:X (where X is the two-letter language code). For English: -lang:en For German: -lang:de For Spanish: -lang:es

FluidSIM relies on a comprehensive library file for component descriptions and educational material. If your interface changes language but the circuit component names do not, you need to change your library template. Go to and ensure your library path points to the corresponding language subfolder (e.g., the en folder for English). FluidSIM Reverts to the Default Language on Restart
No internal switcher. Relies entirely on the installer language. To change languages, you must use the to remove it, then reinstall from a multilingual ISO file, selecting English during setup. For English: -lang:en For German: -lang:de For Spanish:
⚠️ If you’re installing FluidSIM v3.6 and the installation process doesn’t offer a language selection, the software may default to German. In this case, you’ll need to use a language pack (see Method 4 below).
